An actuator is the component of an engine that converts combustibility into action, energy into motion. Actuators don’t create energy; they channel it effectively, turning potential into production. The Actuator Leadership Group (ALG) is designed to do exactly this, for you or your organization.

Founded by Nate Wagner, a multi-disciplined licensed counselor with nearly three decades of experience in community-based organizational development, clinical counseling, and leadership coaching, ALG is designed to bridge the gap between hard skills and soft skills when it comes to leading both yourself and your organization.

    Nate Wagner is the president of Actuator Leadership Group, a counseling and coaching group dedicated to supporting missional leaders in navigating the unique challenges they face. After twenty-seven years in pastoral ministry, seventeen years as a mental health clinician, and more than a decade of international work offering coaching, training, and soul care in a variety of contexts ALG was birthed.

    Nate launched ALG to focus his professional work on helping ministry and marketplace leaders discover pathways to thriving and optimizing impact as they confront the inevitable realities of servant leadership. With deep empathy and practical strategies, Nate seeks to guide individuals and teams toward success relationally, professionally, and spiritually.

    His work centers on coaching leaders to achieve personal growth, overcome barriers and burnout, cultivate team cohesion, and foster resilience while staying true to their core mission. Nate serves a diverse community of missionaries, church leaders, nonprofit and marketplace executives around the world. Professionally, his greatest passion is empowering others to lead with authenticity and purpose.

    Nate loves doing life with his wife, Karla, of almost twenty-eight years, his three grown children and son-in-law. He enjoys outdoor activities, hosting events, and traveling.

    Peter serves at CURE International as the Chief Human Resource Officer. As a member of the Executive Leadership Team he oversees human resources, organizational learning and development, and managing critical medical supply chains and operations. Prior to his role at CURE he served for over twenty years in higher education as a Chief Operations Officer, academic administrator and…

    Peter Osborn, Ph.D.

    Peter serves at CURE International as the Chief Human Resource Officer. As a member of the Executive Leadership Team he oversees human resources, organizational learning and development, and managing critical medical supply chains and operations.

    Prior to his role at CURE he served for over twenty years in higher education as a Chief Operations Officer, academic administrator and associate professor. Peter has a seminary degree from GRTS and a Ph.D. in strategic leadership from Michigan State University.

    Additionally, Peter has extensive experience in leadership coaching and consulting, supporting organizations through change, and navigating ministry crisis. Peter enjoys reading biographies, mountain biking and has three grown children.
