Privacy Policy
Effective October 5, 2026
Actuator Leadership Group (“ALG,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides leadership coaching, licensed counseling, crisis intervention, and organizational training. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through actuatorleadershipgroup.com (the “Site”), how we use it, and the choices you have.
This policy covers the Site only. Information you share with us as a counseling or coaching client is protected by the professional confidentiality obligations that apply to our licensed counselors and by the agreements and notices we provide when you begin services. Those documents, not this policy, govern your client records.
Information you give us
When you fill out a form on the Site, we collect what you enter:
- Introductory call and contact requests: your name, email address, phone number, and anything you write about how we can help.
- Client intake: the same details, plus your company or organization if you provide it.
- Newsletter sign-up: your first name and email address.
Please do not include detailed health, medical, or other sensitive personal information in website forms. A brief note about what you’re looking for is all we need; we’ll gather anything more in a private conversation.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, the Site receives standard technical information when you visit, such as your browser and device type, the page you requested, and the page that referred you. When we test alternate versions of a page to learn which is most helpful, we also record which version you saw and whether you went on to contact us, together with general information about the visit: device type, browser, operating system, approximate location (country, region, and city), the referring website or campaign, and a one-way hashed form of your IP address rather than the address itself.
Cookies
The Site uses a small number of cookies:
- Page-test cookies remember which version of a page you were shown while a test is running, so it stays consistent between visits.
- Sign-in cookies are used only by ALG staff who sign in to edit the Site.
We do not use advertising cookies, we do not track you across other websites, and we do not sell or share your information for advertising. Because of that, the Site does not change its behavior in response to browser “Do Not Track” signals. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings and the Site will still work. If we ever add third-party analytics or advertising tools, we will update this policy first.
How we use your information
- To respond to your inquiry, schedule an introductory call, and begin the intake process.
- To send the newsletter you signed up for. Every newsletter email includes a way to unsubscribe.
- To understand how the Site is used and improve it.
- To keep the Site secure and prevent spam and abuse.
- To meet our legal and professional obligations.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
- With service providers that operate the Site and our communications on our behalf, such as our website hosting (Vercel), database and file storage (Convex), and email delivery providers. They may use it only to provide those services to us.
- When required by law, subpoena, or court order, or when necessary to protect someone’s safety.
- As part of a merger, sale, or reorganization of our practice, in which case this policy continues to apply to the information transferred.
How long we keep information
We keep form submissions for as long as we need them to respond to you and for our ordinary business records, and we keep newsletter details until you unsubscribe. Information that becomes part of a client record is kept as required by the professional and legal rules that apply to counseling records.
Security
The Site is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and access to form submissions is limited to authorized ALG staff. No method of transmitting or storing information is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in any newsletter. You may also ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information you have given us through the Site by contacting us through our Contact page. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state’s privacy laws; we will honor those requests as the law requires and will not treat you differently for making them.
Children’s privacy
The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the Site. If you believe a child has sent us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Links to other websites
The Site may link to websites we do not control. Their privacy practices are their own, so please review their policies.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date above and note significant changes on the Site.
